Reverse description Central device consisting of an oval shield bearing three fleurs-de-lis, representing the Bourbon dynastic emblem, set within a quartered arrangement of alternating castles and rampant lions, emblematic of the kingdoms of Castile and León. The shield is encircled by a decorative laurel or olive wreath. The overall composition reflects the standard Spanish colonial armorial style of the late eighteenth century. A toothed border surrounds the entire reverse field.
