| Reverse description | The reverse displays cursive Arabic inscriptions arranged in multiple lines across the field, with the AH date ١٣٤٨ (1348) prominently positioned in the lower portion of the coin. Additional Arabic legends occupy the upper and central areas of the field in a traditional calligraphic style consistent with Hejaz and Nejd coinage of the period. The inscriptions reference the denomination and issuing authority. The overall design is characteristic of early Saudi Arabian coinage under Abd al-Aziz ibn Saud. |
