| Obverse description | Single-sided bracteate uniface type struck on a thin, irregular flan. The central design features a capital letter A in relief, enclosed within a raised solid inner ring, itself surrounded by a broader concentric outer ring forming the border. The letter A serves as a mint initial referencing Asloie (Oslo), the issuing mint. The flan edges are characteristically jagged and uneven, consistent with medieval Norwegian hammered coinage of the 13th century. |
