Obverse description Central eight-pointed star motif with a pellet or dot ornament placed between each point, the entire device enclosed within a raised inner circle. The field beyond the circle is plain, and the flan presents the characteristic irregular outline and thin fabric of a hammered bracteate striking. No legend or inscription appears; the design is entirely decorative and geometric in character.

Reverse description As a bracteate, the reverse displays the incuse mirror image of the obverse design: the eight-pointed star and surrounding pellets are visible in low relief as a negative impression transferred through the thin silver flan during the single-die hammering process. This piece is an anonymous bracteate issued during the reign of King Håkon Håkonsson (r. 1217–1263), struck without royal titulature or identifying legend.
