| Reverse description | The reverse features two kudu bulls facing one another in a dramatic sparring pose, their long spiralling horns locked in combat across the centre of the coin. Both animals are rendered in high relief with exceptional naturalistic detail, capturing the musculature and distinctive vertical white body striping of the species. Above the combatants, the word "NATURA" is inscribed in large, bold capital letters arching across the upper field, framed by an intricate border of acacia tree branches and foliage that encircles the design. The fineness and weight designation "1/4 OZ Au 999.9" appears in smaller lettering along the upper left periphery, with the engraver's initials "WL" discretely placed in the lower field. |
