| Obverse description | Central trident flanked by dense Newar script legends filling the field, with the regnal inscription of Rajya Prakash Malla and the Nepal Sambat date (NS 870) arranged around the central device. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. The script is rendered in the traditional Ranjana (Pracalit) style characteristic of Patan coinage of the period. |
