| Obverse description | The obverse is uniface, printed in green on plain paper. The imperial toughra of Sultan Mehmed V is centred at the upper portion of the note, flanked on both sides by the fractional denomination '1/4' within ornamental cartouches. The field is filled with dense Ottoman calligraphic text arranged in multiple registers, set against an intricate guilloche underprint of scrollwork and foliate arabesques; the series designation 'SÉRIE D' appears at the lower left alongside the serial number at the lower right. |
