The country name SHQIPNI (Albania) appears as a legend along the upper field in large incuse Latin letters. The date 1926 is inscribed in the lower field, with the Rome Mint mark R positioned directly below in the exergue. The engravers' signatures G. ROMAGNOLI and A. MOTTI INC. are incised in small letters beneath the lion's hindquarters at lower right. |
