Obverse description A humped bull (Nandi/taurus) facing left, rendered in relief in a schematic early Indian style. The animal is depicted with a prominent dewlap and hump, set within a border of large pellets encircling the field. Additional pellets are scattered in the field around the figure, characteristic of Naga dynastic copper coinage of the 3rd–4th century CE.
