| Obverse description | Crowned effigy of Queen Wilhelmina facing left, her hair dressed and gathered at the nape with a small ornate crown atop, rendered in fine relief against a flat field. The portrait is youthful and naturalistically modeled, with detailed hair strands flowing back from the face. A continuous circular legend surrounds the effigy, reading WILHELMINA KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN, separated from the toothed border by a beaded inner rim that encircles the entire design. |

| Reverse description | The crowned Dutch coat of arms is centrally displayed, flanked on either side by the denomination expressed as 1/4 G, with the date 1900 positioned below the shield. The colonial issuing authority is identified by the legend NEDERL. INDIE. arcing above or around the arms. A privy mark and mintmark appear to either side of the central device, and the entire composition is contained within a beaded border consistent with the obverse. |
