Obverse description Unadorned right-facing effigy of Queen Juliana, her hair elaborately styled and held in place by a geometric latticed hair net, with a small earring visible at the ear. The portrait, modeled by engraver Ludwig Oswald Wenckebach, is rendered in high relief against a plain field. The circular legend surrounding the effigy reads JULIANA KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN, interrupted at the base by a small dot stop.
