Reverse description A prominent cross pattée with trefoil terminations occupies the central field, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The cross is boldly struck in high relief and is the dominant design element of the reverse. A circular legend in Gothic uncial script reads LVDOVICVS D SABAD, mirroring the obverse inscription and confirming this variety as the type bearing the ruler's legend on both sides. The outer border is formed by a toothed or beaded rim, and the irregular flan shows typical characteristics of hand-hammered medieval silver coinage.
