Obverse description Central field dominated by a large Gothic capital K, the royal initial of Charles VIII, flanked on either side by pellets. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with a Latin circumscription running along the outer margin. The hammered flan exhibits characteristic irregular edges and uneven relief typical of late 15th-century Provencal billon coinage.
