Reverse description The reverse field displays a bold Arabic inscription centrally placed within a single or double incuse circular border, characteristic of Bahmani fractional copper coinage. The legend, rendered in a large, simplified script, occupies the majority of the field with minimal subsidiary ornamentation. The flan is irregular in outline, with an uneven, porous surface and areas of brown and green patination, consistent with hammered copper pieces of the Bahmani Sultanate period.
