Reverse description The reverse bears a hammered Arabic inscription referencing the sultan's full laqab 'Nasir ud-Duniya wa ud-Din', distributed across the field in the angular, abbreviated style common to small-denomination Gujarat Sultanate copper issues. The lettering is bold but worn, with the characteristic provincial calligraphic style of the early fifteenth century. The irregular flan edge and thick planchet are consistent with the quarter-falus denomination. Traces of reddish copper and green patina are visible across the surface.
