Reverse description Three interlaced crowned oval cartouches arranged in a trefoil pattern, each bearing the royal monogram L, surmounted by a large royal crown at the top. Between the cartouches are three fleurs-de-lis, with one positioned at the base and one on each lateral position, all set within a beaded inner circle. The date appears integrated within the circular legend SIT•NOMEN•DOMINI•BENEDICTVM, a biblical inscription meaning 'Blessed be the name of the Lord.' A mint mark appears at the base of the design within the field.
