Obverse description Elaborately interlaced cursive royal cypher 'FR' (Fridericus Rex) rendered in baroque script, occupying the central field. The monogram is surmounted by a large Electoral crown with fleurons and arches, the whole device finely engraved in high relief. The coin is bordered by a continuous milled or grained edge, with no surrounding legend.
