Obverse description Draped bust of Emperor Charles VI facing right, with long flowing hair, set within a beaded inner circle. The legend, reading CAR VI D G R I S A G HI H B REX, commences at approximately 8 o'clock and encircles the effigy. The portrait is rendered in a bold baroque style characteristic of early eighteenth-century Habsburg coinage, with the emperor depicted in armoured dress. A milled or grained border frames the outer edge of the coin.
Obverse script Latin

Reverse description Crowned double-headed imperial eagle displayed, with wings spread, bearing on its breast an escutcheon charged with the arms of Styria (a silver bend on a green field). The divided date appears in the upper field to either side of the imperial crown above the eagle's heads. The circular legend ARCHID AUST DUX BUR STYRIÆ runs around the periphery, enclosed within a beaded border. The overall composition is typical of Habsburg hereditary-lands coinage of the Graz mint during the reign of Charles VI.
