| Additional information |
Charles VI's Silesian ducats were struck at Breslau following the Habsburg consolidation of the region after the War of the Spanish Succession, with the mint operating under imperial authority reasserted through the Pragmatic Sanction negotiations of the same decade. The quarter-ducat denomination served primarily as a presentation and donative piece rather than a workhorse of commerce — too small for substantial transactions, too fine for casual use.
Herinek 247 is among the scarcer fractional gold entries for this reign and mint combination.
