Reverse description The quartered coat of arms of Transylvania, surmounted by an ornate imperial crown, occupies the central field. The shield displays the traditional Transylvanian heraldic elements: the eagle and crescent of the Saxon nation, the seven fortresses represented by seven towers, and the sun and moon motif, all framed by elaborate baroque scrollwork supporters. Below the shield, a small oval cartouche bears the fractional denomination mark '1/4'. The circular Latin legend PRINCEPS TRANSYLVANIE surrounds the composition, proclaiming Charles's title as Prince of Transylvania, all set within a reeded border.
