Obverse description Elaborately interlaced crowned cypher of Count Albert Ernest I of Öttingen occupying the entire field, formed by the intertwined initials A and E beneath a princely crown. The monogram is rendered in a refined Baroque calligraphic style. The coin border is decorated with a continuous inner ring of raised beads. No legend or exergue is present; the design relies entirely on the ornamental cypher as the central motif.
