| Obverse description | Within a raised circular border set against a plain rectangular field, the right-facing diademed effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, after the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait, occupies the central medallion. The legend ELIZABETH II is inscribed along the left arc and SOLOMON ISLANDS 1/4 DOLLAR along the right arc of the circle. The engraver's initials IRB appear below the truncation of the bust, with the date 2015 in the lower field. The overall surface displays a polished gold-plated finish characteristic of a proof striking. |
