Reverse description The central field depicts a dynamic scene of a mounted cowboy at full gallop, lasso extended, pursuing and roping a running man rendered in a satirical Western vignette style. The legend TEXAS arcs prominently at the top, followed by the date 1845 denoting Texas statehood, and the inscription HOME OF GEORGE W. BUSH appears in two lines in the upper right field. The date 2004 and the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM are inscribed along the lower portion of the field, with a small copyright notice visible in the exergue area.
