| Obverse description | Densely struck Arabic inscriptions covering the entire field of this small, irregularly shaped hammered silver flan. The legends, rendered in a compressed Maghrebi Kufic script, are arranged in multiple lines filling the die area. The surface displays the characteristic uneven relief and irregular flan edges typical of hand-hammered Saadian coinage. The script is bold but partially weakly struck in areas due to the rudimentary minting technique. |
