(Translation: Hussein bin Talal King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan)
Reverse description Central design features a raised circular cartouche enclosing the dual-dated year inscription in both Hijri and Gregorian numerals at the top, the Arabic denomination ربع درهم (Quarter Dirham) in the centre, and the Arabic numeral value ٢٥ فلسا (25 Fils) below. Flanking the cartouche are two symmetrical olive branches extending from base to top, symbolising peace. Along the lower exergue, a bilingual Latin legend reads TWENTY FIVE FILS and THE HASHEMITE KINGDOM OF JORDAN in two arched lines. The entire design is framed by a toothed border.
