| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a circumscribed multi-pointed star formed by interlaced lines with pellets at the intersections, characteristic of Fatimid Sicilian tarì coinage. Arabic legends in Kufic script are disposed in the compartments formed by the star's geometry and within the central area. A circular border legend in Arabic script runs along the coin's periphery. The overall design reflects the highly stylised, pseudo-epigraphic tradition of the Norman-Fatimid monetary interface at the Sicily mint. |

| Reverse description | Central field occupied by a circumscribed multi-pointed interlaced star with pellets at the line intersections, closely mirroring the obverse composition in the Fatimid Sicilian tarì tradition. Arabic Kufic inscriptions fill the geometric compartments created by the interlaced star pattern. A peripheral circular legend in Arabic script runs along the rim. The flan is slightly irregular in shape, consistent with hand-struck hammered coinage of this series. |
