Obverse description Portrait of the young King Faisal II as a child at right, set within a plain oval frame, rendered in intaglio engraving against a green guilloche underprint. Arabic text appears across the upper and central portions of the note, with the denomination 'ربع دينار' inscribed in a dark central panel. Serial number and a single manuscript signature appear in the lower margin, with the fraction '1/4' repeated in the upper corners.

Reverse description The reverse is printed in green and displays 'GOVERNMENT OF IRAQ' in bold letterpress across the top.
