Reverse description A large Burgundian cross with ornate terminals occupies the central field, its four arms dividing the space into quadrants each bearing an imperial crown. The Order of the Golden Fleece pendant hangs at the center of the cross. The peripheral legend ARCH·AVST·DVX·BVRG·LOTH·BRAB·COM·FLAN· records Leopold's subsidiary titles as Archduke of Austria, Duke of Burgundy, Lorraine, and Brabant, and Count of Flanders. The date appears at the base of the legend.
