Obverse description Diademed and draped young bust of Queen Victoria facing left, her hair swept back and gathered in a chignon adorned with a floral ornament. The portrait, engraved by William Wyon, displays fine classical detail with a plain truncation at the base. The legend VICTORIA to the left and QUEEN to the right arc along the periphery in raised Latin lettering, framed by a toothed border.
