| Obverse description | The Panamanian national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield surmounted by a harpy eagle with outstretched wings, flanked by two national flags and supported by a cornucopia and a winged wheel at the base. A row of ten five-pointed stars arches above the shield. The circular legend REPÚBLICA DE PANAMA runs along the upper periphery, while the motto PRO MUNDI BENEFICIO appears on a scroll across the shield. The date of issue is inscribed in the lower exergue. |
