Reverse description The reverse field is dominated by a bold multi-line Arabic inscription occupying the majority of the coin's surface, reading 'فيصل بن تركي سلطان مسقط وعمان' (Faisal bin Turki, Sultan of Muscat and Oman). The lettering is rendered in a calligraphic Arabic style, deeply struck into the copper flan. A toothed or beaded border runs along the coin's rim, framing the inscription without an additional inner circle or wreath, consistent with the KM#9.1 no-border-on-reverse variety.
