| Obverse description | Third portrait effigy of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, wearing the George IV State Diadem and a pearl necklace, with hair swept up beneath the crown. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left field, while ISLE OF MAN curves along the upper right and the date appears vertically along the right rim. The engraver's initials RDM appear truncated at the bust. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail characteristic of Maklouf's mature style. |
