| Obverse description | Bare male head facing right, adorned with a beaded necklace, with long wavy hair rendered in flowing locks falling behind the neck. The portrait is executed in the Ibero-Hellenistic style characteristic of northeastern Hispanic coinage of the early 2nd century BC. A dotted border frames the design along the inner periphery of the flan. |

The naturalistic rendering of the animal reflects the Iberian artistic tradition blended with Hellenistic influence. |
