| Obverse description | A stag passant to the left stands before a column surmounted by a crown, the whole within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding legend contains the titles of the two co-ruling counts in Latin abbreviation. The stag, a traditional heraldic device of the Counts of Stolberg, is rendered with naturalistic detail, its shaggy coat clearly defined. The field is flat and unadorned, drawing attention to the central charge. |

| Reverse description | An imperial orb bearing the fraction numeral '28' (denoting 1⁄28 Thaler) occupies the centre of the coin within a beaded inner circle, surmounted by a cross fleury. The continuation of the counts' titles in Latin appears in the outer legend, with the date 1612 incorporated into the margin. The composition is stark and functional, consistent with the standard iconography of Kleinmünzen of the period. The legend reads around the full circumference of the coin. |
