| Obverse description | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of King Charles III occupies the central field, rendered in high relief with fine portrait detail characteristic of the Maklouf design tradition. The surrounding legend reads CHARLES III · D·G·REX · F·D· GIBRALTAR, with the date 2024 and denomination 1/25 CROWN distributed around the lower portion of the coin. The portrait is set against a deeply mirrored proof field, with the legend arranged in a continuous circle along the rim. The king is depicted with a mature, unadorned likeness, consistent with official coinage effigies issued for Gibraltar under Charles III. |
