| Obverse description | The obverse displays the quartered coat of arms of the Electorate of Saxony, featuring the Saxon barry with the crancelin bend, the rampant lion of Thuringia, crossed swords of the Margraviate of Meissen, and additional heraldic quarterings, all surmounted by an electoral crown and supported by two lions rampant serving as shield supporters. The mint initials E·D·C appear in the lower field beneath the shield. A circular Latin legend surrounds the arms, identifying Xavier as Duke of Saxony and Royal Prince of Poland and Lithuania, along with the fineness indication of 320 to the mark. |
