| Obverse description | Central field displays the crowned quartered coat of arms of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach, elaborately ornamented with foliate mantling extending to the coin's periphery. The shield features the characteristic Saxon barry with the rautenkranz diagonal, alongside additional dynastic quarterings. A large arched crown surmounts the escutcheon. The peripheral legend reads FRIED. D. G. D. S. I. C. M. A. W.
