| Obverse description | Central field occupied by the quartered electoral arms of Saxony — displaying the Rautenkranz (rue crown diagonal band) over alternating fields of horizontal stripes and rampant lions — surmounted by an electoral crown. The shield is encircled by an ornate baroque cartouche of scrolling acanthus foliage. The mint mark and mintmaster initials EDC appear in the lower portion of the field or exergue. The overall design is rendered in a robust relief typical of mid-18th century Saxon milled coinage. |

| Reverse description | The reverse bears a bold four-line denomination inscription in the central field reading '24 / EINEN / THALER', with the date below in large numerals and the Leipzig mint mark 'L' beneath. The legend and numerals are framed by elaborate symmetrical baroque scroll ornaments occupying the left and right fields, all enclosed within a dotted or milled border. The design is characteristic of the Konventionsgroschen coinage of the Electorate of Saxony under Frederick August II. |
