Obverse description Central quartered and impaled coat of arms of the Duchy of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach, displaying five-fold heraldic divisions with lion and eagle quarters, enclosed within an elaborate baroque cartouche surmounted by a ducal crown. Supporters and foliate mantling flank the shield on either side. The circular Latin legend runs along the outer border, reading the ruler's full titulature.

Reverse description Central imperial orb bearing the denomination numeral 24, flanked on either side by the mint official's initials, with the date split above and below the orb. The surrounding circular Latin legend identifies the issuing duchy and mint authority. The design is typical of small-denomination German States Thaler coinage of the mid-eighteenth century.
