| Obverse description | Central quartered and impaled coat of arms of the Duchy of Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach, displaying five-fold heraldic divisions with lion and eagle quarters, enclosed within an elaborate baroque cartouche surmounted by a ducal crown. Supporters and foliate mantling flank the shield on either side. The circular Latin legend runs along the outer border, reading the ruler's full titulature. |
