Reverse description At the centre of the square klippe flan, an imperial orb bearing the fraction numeral '24' is depicted within a beaded circle, surmounted by a cross that divides the date into two halves at the top of the orb. The surrounding Latin legend, read clockwise, identifies the issuer as Duchess of Saxony and Abbess of Quedlinburg. The overall design conforms to the standard Kipper- und Wipperzeit 1⁄24 Thaler type struck throughout the Holy Roman Empire during this period.
