| Reverse description | Imperial orb bearing the numeral 24 in the lower globe, topped by a cross with ornate terminals, all within a rope-bordered inner circle. The date 1638 is divided and placed above the orb. A continuous Latin legend surrounding the design carries the titles of Holy Roman Emperor Ferdinand III, interrupted by decorative stops. The composition is typical of the Reichskreuzer or Groschen series issued by German imperial cities during the early seventeenth century. |
