Reverse description Central design features an ornate cross fleury with a quatrefoil rosette at its center, the four arms of the cross terminating in fleur-de-lis finials and flanked by decorative foliate scrollwork filling the angles between the arms. The peripheral legend DOMINVS MIHI ADIVTOR, meaning 'The Lord is my help,' is rendered in capital Latin letters separated by stops, encircling the entire design. The overall composition is characteristic of the Burgundian-Habsburg devotional coinage tradition of the Spanish Netherlands.
