Obverse description Bare male head facing right, rendered in a bold and somewhat archaic Iberian style characteristic of the Ilergetes coinage. The facial features are strongly modelled with a prominent nose and chin; the hair is depicted in short, stylized locks above the forehead. No legend or inscription appears in the field. The flan is irregular and the die-work reflects the provincial hammered tradition of Hispania Citerior during the Second Punic War period.

Reverse description Wolf standing to right, depicted in profile with tail raised and body rendered in a compact, stylized manner typical of Iberian provincial bronze coinage. The animal's legs and musculature are summarily engraved, consistent with the small module and hammered technique of the issue. No legend or inscription accompanies the type. The field is flat and unadorned, and the irregular flan edge is characteristic of this emission from the mint of Ilerda.
