| Obverse description | Facing bust of Ahmad Shah Qajar at center, depicted wearing a traditional Qajar plumed crown (kolah) adorned with a jeweled aigrette. The Shah is shown in military uniform with an upright collar. The Arabic date ۱۳۳۹ (1339 AH) appears flanking the portrait on either side within the field. The portrait is rendered in a formal, slightly stylized manner characteristic of late Qajar coinage, with fine detail on the crown and facial features. A fine beaded border surrounds the design. |
