| Reverse description | Central circular cartouche bearing a three-line Persian religious invocation in flowing Nastaliq script. The central legend reads 'یا صاحب الزّمان علیه السّلام' (Oh Sahib az-Zaman, peace be upon him), a Shia devotional phrase invoking the Hidden Imam. Below the cartouche, the mint name طهران (Tehran) appears in the lower field. The central cartouche is encircled by a wreath of oak and laurel branches tied at the base, with a reeded border at the rim. The overall composition is symmetrical and elegantly executed in high relief. |
