Obverse description Central quartered coat of arms of Mansfeld, surmounted by two ornate crested helmets — a fan-crest at left and an eagle displayed at right — with elaborate mantling. The date 1617 is divided to either side of the upper helmets, and the mintmaster's initials AK appear divided at the base of the shield. A circular Latin legend surrounds the entire composition, reading the names and titles of the three co-ruling counts.
