Obverse description Central field occupied by a large quartered heraldic shield bearing the arms of the County of Mansfeld, supported by decorative mantling and flanked by the mint master's initials A and K in the lower quarters. Above the shield, two crested helmets with elaborate plumes and a small eagle are displayed. The date 1615 appears divided on either side of the upper helmets. The peripheral legend in Latin reads VOLRAT. JOBST. WOLFGANG. D.G. COM. ET. DOM. IN. MANSF., naming the three co-ruling counts by the grace of God.
