Reverse description Double-headed imperial eagle displayed, wings spread, each head surmounted by a separate crown beneath a single large central crown, with the quartered Habsburg arms on an escutcheon on the eagle's breast. The date 1605 appears divided in the left field. The surrounding legend, reading ARCHI AVST DVX BVRG MA, records Rudolf's titles as Archduke of Austria and Duke of Burgundy. The entire device is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, all struck on a square klippe flan with chamfered corners.
