| Obverse description | Veiled and draped bust of Empress Maria Theresia facing right, wearing a widow's veil without a brooch at the shoulder, her hair arranged in loose curls beneath the veil. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine engraving detail characteristic of late Baroque Imperial portraiture. A continuous Latin legend encircles the bust, divided at its base, reading M THERESIA D G R IMP HU BO REG, all within a beaded border. |
