| Obverse description | Right-facing draped bust of Empress Maria Theresa, her hair elaborately dressed in loose curls and gathered with ribbons, wearing a low-cut bodice adorned with lace and jeweled clasps. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine baroque detail, occupying the left and central field. The encircling Latin legend reads M · THERESIA · D · G · REG · HU · BO :, identifying her as Queen of Hungary and Bohemia by the grace of God. The milled border frames the design on the coin's periphery. |
