Obverse description Draped bust of Archduke Leopold V facing right, depicted with shoulder-length hair and an ecclesiastical collar, the date divided to either side of the effigy within a beaded inner circle. The circumferential Latin legend reads continuously around the portrait, separated from the outer milled border by a second beaded ring. The relief is bold and sculptural, characteristic of early seventeenth-century Habsburg Tyrolean coinage.

Reverse description Ornately crowned composite coat of arms occupying the central field, featuring the quartered Habsburg arms with the small Tyrolean eagle shield at center, all enclosed within a beaded inner circle whose upper arc is divided by the projecting crown. The encircling Latin legend, rendered in fine Roman capitals, identifies Leopold's titles and governance. The overall heraldic composition is richly detailed, with decorative scrollwork framing the shield in the manner typical of Tyrolean half-thalers of this period.
